I would like to convert my stock lights in my 2004 C5 vanity mirror to LEDS but cant find the correct bulbs.also how do you get the old ones out? I'ive tried pulling but they didnt budge. also like instruction of how to remove the shifter boot so I can also change that to LED.I belive the glove compartment lt & the vanity lts use same bulb. they are all very small

I used dental floss, though fishing line would work even better. Tie a lasso on one end, slip it over the bulb, and tighten the hoop. Still tricky, but got the job done for me. Good luck. 
Edit: I just remembered that I was unable to pull the map lights in my '04Z. The bulbs were slightly different, and I ended up leaving them be.
