OK, I called four shops, seems a lot of shops aren't equipped for low cars. Anyone know of a shop, not a dealer that can align my C-5? New Hankooks approaching 500 miles.
Might have better luck in the Northeast Regional forums. I use a shop that specializes in English cars for my alignments, they've never said its a problem. It's honestly something a couple of 2X4's can fix. Any chain place is probably just being lazy.
Their QuickLane Service Shops have alignment machines that are recessed into the floor so it's a flat transition from the ground to the ramp. They did my C5 after I had it lowered, and happy with the results. I actually have them do a lot of my wheel and tire work. They also have Road Force Balancers, if not in the QuickLane; they have one in the dealer service area that they can and do use.
My car is stock height l. I did find a place, old school, the test drive and BOOM, it's alighned. More of what I'm accustomed to back in the day. In Levittown PA. Ty all...

why are you scared of a dealer doing an alignment? sometimes they have the capital to have the best equipment....around me its $99 job and they dont care what car you bring in

best equipment and people that don't know how to use it... many dealers nowadays don't want to pay the right people so they have a bunch of kids doing work like this getting $10 an hour on the clock and not even on flag rate, that way the dealer makes even MORE money
Try Phoenix Automotive. It's somewhere south of the Allentown and Macungie/Palm area. They really know C5 suspensions there. They have done alot of racing with Vettes. I drove there from north Jersey, it was worth the trip. They did a fantastic job.

I use our local QuickLane shop for my tire and wheel needs.
Done. No screen nor laser lights, just know how. Guy said wouldn't know how to use them new fancy machines. A frame and alignment shop in Levittown PA, I don't know if I'm allowed to share the name?
