The chrome C5 Z06 replicas I have on my car have been there since it was new in 2003 and are from Factory Reproductions. My car is not a DD, and has only 22K miles on it, but the chrome is in excellent shape and the wheels have always balanced out perfectly. My wheels were made in the USA - not sure they still are for the newer ones.

You can also look into oewheelsllc. I have a set of their wheels on my DD and they look great! I can't speak that much to longevity, but there is nothing there to make me believe these won't last for the long haul. I just wanted a set of stock sized wheels and to change up the look of the car from the stock chrome thin spokes, and they had just what I wanted. I submitted a review and I guess they have decided to use my car of their page for the wheels I got. For the price I don't think I could find better.

Melting Slicks
I have a set of four Factory Reproductions 18x10.5 C5Z replicas in black/polished. Pretty nice for the price, and light weight for replicas (+1 lb over stock)! I looked very hard for a matching pair of fronts in 18x9.5 but they've been discontinued for a while. They're not my primary wheels but I've had them on the track a few times and didn't die.
I also have a set of OE Wheels C6Z replicas 18x9.5/10.5. These are also nice, a little more heavier than the FR's. One thing about these is that the gloss coat isn't consistent across all four wheels, one or two of them are noticeably less "glossy" than the others. Once they got a nice coating of brake dust it was not noticeable.
