Anyone running these? Just looked at the dot on my current tires and they are scary old! (should have looked at that last year when we bought it) Was going to go with the firehawk indy 500's, but just read an article on the general's in Hot Rod Mag where they gushed over them. Tire Rack has them in stock (have been pushing the 500 rears out later and later so can't get a complete set of those yet). TR shows no reviews so i'm kinda torn...Thanks all!

Tire Rack always has deals on something. A few months back, I picked up a W rated Sumitomo 245/45/x18 for $101 - I needed a fullsize spare for the other car. Another $99 for an 18x8 Rial wheel, can't beat it. Just an OEM rim was going to be $400+.
Costco, if you have one near you has regular deals on both Michelins and Bridgestones.
And remember, the target audience for Hot Rod mag are people who mostly go in straight lines......
I have the general GMAX AS all seasons on my daily driver SI. They are the best tire I have ever driven on. I know its no summer tire, but its been my favorite all around.

Are they run flats?
I'm looking for a set but without a spare tire I prefer rft.

Yeah, looks like they are a new tire (thus no real reviews). I just looked on the discount tire site (i have a local DT that i use and they have been great) and they are actually just a tad cheaper than going the tire rack route. None in stock but they can get the Generals in 3-5 days. Indys...i have a feeling they will pushed back yet again. Not much summer left here in the "great" PNW and running around on 9 year old tires makes me a wee bit nervous! Plus i'm itching to pull those wheels off anyways and put my new ceramic pads on there. Hating the squeek....double hating the brake dust. And i have satin black rims and can still see all the crap on there after a short 30 minute drive. Can't imagine what the poor chrome guys have to deal with!! Guess i'll be the guinea pig on the Generals

I put the General Gmax AS05's on my wife's car. They have great reviews on TR's site. Reasonably priced. And if they look a little like Conti DWS06's, it's because General is owned by Continental and benefits from their engineering experience. Highly recommended. They are considered a UHP all-season.

I heard they were noisy? Any thoughts on that? My appreciated. I went with Michelin A/S non run flats and they're just about silent. But I'd like to pay less next time.
