This one is real easy - i.e. spending someone elses money :)
1. Buy the Z06
2. Trade in the Camaro to keep taxes down, they are hard to sell these days anyway.
3. Compute what you REALISTICALLY can get for your FRC selling it yourself vs trade in value, taking into account the tax savings, PITA factor etc. Only you can make the call, but I would sell the Vette privately, to Lamar (93polo) actually :)
Take the Z06 for a test drive and I think you will know what you have to do.
Take it for a drive, put your foot into it, then go around some turns, and then remind yourself "this is stock". Then smile as you think "what's my first mod"
Dude.......do you have it yet?????!!!!! If not, why the hell not!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go get that car NOW!!!!! And if you don't, let me in on that action. I am ready to buy. I NEEEEEEEEED a ZO6!!!!!!! Alright, but seriously, all you have to do is drive it. It will be all over after that. I do believe this is a no-brainer!!! Good Luck!
I agree with everyone above. If the car truley is a low mileage, never wrecked or painted, etc. that is a hell of a price. If you are loosing $4K on the trade, are you taking into consideration the tax savings? If you are and you are still really loosing $4K, then as someone stated above, that tacked onto the Z price is still a good deal. Worst case scenario, you dumped two cars and picked up one nicer car for a reasonable price. If you like the car and how it drives, JUMP ON THE DEAL.
