C5 platform is still winning events in various spec of racing, it's still a completely capable platform. You can make a C5Z go to an HPDE and spank 90% of what shows up. For the price you can buy the car these days, they are still very much a contender. I beat a supercharged Mustang just the other day...and my C5Z is now back to NA and mildly modded. It's plenty for the street and a track day, without killing the budget. I believe it's one of the best sports car bargains out there, by far.

Now wait just a minute there, you think you're gonna get away with saying you spanked a supercharged Mustang with an archaic C5Z? You know somebody's gonna chime in and say that isn't possible because the new Mustangs are super cars, don't know?
