Default Corbeau A4 seat question?

I just installed my new Corbeau A4 seats this weekend and honestly I’m a little disappointed. I read every thread I could before purchasing them and felt confident I made the right choice. After driving around On Sunday I notice a lot of spring “sqweek” around my upper back area. In the pic it’s right where the three lines are just below your shoulders. It’s super annoying because if you take your hand and press into the seat just above those lines it sqweeks terribly and you can feel the springs quite prominently. Any little bump causes the back to sqweek (even with the radio up!!) Not to mention it isn’t very comfortable and I can feel the springs in my upper back.

Im not a big person, 5,8” and 180lbs. I’m not the type to complain but after so many great reviews I can’t believe no one else has said anything about this unless I just received some messed up seats. Any input would be appreciated. At this point I’m considering returning them for something else unless people say it’s normal than I’ll just live with it.

I have had A4s for a year with the micro suede and it took a while but they became comfortable once I had the seat bracket perfectly shimmed. No issues with the backs once I got used to them and minimal noise. Quieter than my factory leather that I did not care for. No springs to be felt just the shoulder areas to get used to. Are both the same or just the drivers side?

Its both of them. Maybe I’m just being picky but when sitting in the seat If I push my back into the seat the springs up around my middle back area creak and sqweek loud like an old mattress. Makes me mad because they look great but not sure if I can handle how noisy they are for daily driving.

I have A4s and they don’t squeak at all. Have you tried contacting Corbeau?

Thats my next step, there must be something wrong with these. With so many reviews on these seats it’s hard to imagine no one else has noticed this awful sqweeking from the springs in the back.

I have black A4's in Microsuede. I do not have any squeaks. I did notice that there was some "puckering" on the bottom of one of them - and I wound up having the bottoms of both "re-stuffed" (another car I'm restoring was at the interior shop and the guy did me a favor and didn't charge me much).

Another thing - I got black "memory foam" cushions and I throw them in the bottom - helps keep the bolsters from hitting my thighs on longer trips - for track day they come out....

So I called Corbeau today and Wow! Great customer service!!! The guy on the phone could actually hear the sqweeking the springs were doing and he said that’s not normal. He sent me return labels and they are exchanging both seats. Only bad thing is they are back ordered for at least 2 weeks so I opted to pay the difference and get the Evolution X seats instead since they were in stock. I was torn between the A4’s or the Evolution X’s from the start ( I don’t really care about fixed or recline seats) so I’m happy with the outcome.

Always good to hear about great customer service. FWIW I have A4s in leather and haven't had any squeaks at all. Glad you're getting yours replaced.
