First scratch on my Vette

And in your original post you say "do not tape it off, just feather it in" ...what did you mean by this? Wouldn't you need to tape it off to prevent overspray on the surrounding areas, or does the paint blend better with the surrounding areas when you don't tape it off and create sharp lines between old and new paint?

Yes !! I taped it off the first time and left a line I could not hide,watched e video on u-tube, said to feather it in with several coats !!!
