Hi all. I bought a used corsa exhaust off someone and got screwed. When I installed the axle back I discovered there was a bad rattle coming from passenger side. After checking clamps and heat shields I come to the conclusion it was in the mufflers. Friend of mine cut the mufflers open to discover the issue and welded it back together. I figured I would share some info for anyone that may experience the same issue. If you cut yours open cut the opposite side from the tips. This gives you direct access to the problem area. (This was a learning curve because first muffler we cut on the the tip side but rattle was from broken welds in curve em opposite side) My exhaust is an older system that I couldn't warranty because I wasnt the original owner. I don't have pictures of the other muffler that was cut on the opposite side but as you can see the problem area is on opposite side of the tips. The muffler pictured was the bad side but we opened the driver side muffler had started to fail as well. I hope this helps someone.
Thank you everyone. I love the exhaust now that it's done. I lost a set of wheels I love and drove 2 hours each way to get that exhaust so I was bummed when it rattled like crazy.
