I installed mine recently - and it seems like the "low volume" position is broken. I thought that I had cut the wire when running the speaker wire behind the console - but when I switched it to high - it started chirping...

Wish you luck, mind also failed when the wire broke and speaking to the venders, they wanted me to buy complete new system. I looked on E-bay, with no luck.

Luckily, we're just the opposite. Had the Curb Alert in for about a year with no speaker problems, which is good for us since I've never noticed any marketplace for individual parts for it.
