Default Those with OEM Painted Wheels - Please answer

Just got a new set of OEM Z06 wheels (painted not chrome) and was wondering what you use to clean them?? Spray on hose off?? That won't hurt the finish. Want to start off right with these!!

Thanks!

I hand wash them with the Zaino car wash when I clean the car. I also Zaino them every now and then. Do this for both my Z06 and my 96 Collector Edition.

I've been using Armor All BD remover. No problems but would not use if I had eradispeeds.

I'm not a big fan of spray on rinse off wheel cleaners. I used to use Zaino Z-7 car wash, then switched to Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo when I made the switch to Souveran. I don't think it really matters which one, but the safest bet is to use whatever car wash soap you use on the paint, and not to let the brake dust sit on there forever and build up to the point where you would have to use a spray on, rinse off cleaner. :seeya

wash them just like I wash the rest of the car. Water and car-wash soap using a separate mit. Wash inside when I swap wheels.

Gasp. I actually like to use Dawn dishwashing soap on the wheels and tires. I find it does a nice job removing built up armor all from the tires, and I figure that combined with break dust, grease, etc is what accumulates on the wheels. Seems to work great, the wheels still bead up, and to me they don't have much of a shine anyway. The wheels get a coat of Zaino once a year.
