While I can't specifically say yes or no, I know myself and many many others reuse them without problem. Leaning towards not for those being TTY .

I'm pulling the water pump to make room for compressor replacement, bought new fel pro water pump gaskets, but started wondering if it's ok the reuse them while draining radiator?

Pulled the cover off the top of the radiator and condenser, saw this crud. Nipple seems tight, and car doesn't overheat. Time for a new radiator?

As long as the radiator is not cracked right there, no. I would cut about a half inch off the end of the hose, clean the crude off thoroughly, and replace the clamp.

Those hoses and clamps sure look like OE. If your car, like in your user name, is a 1999, I'd be thinking about new hoses. 19 years is a LONG time for hoses to be in service....

definitely new hoses, mine was not nearly as bad and I changed them out. Be very careful of that plastic hose nipple, be sure to buy the exact hose, to tight will increase the chances of breaking the piece.

I'd use a x-acto knife to cut the hoses length-wise about 2"....maybe even two cuts....those nipples are going to be heat-brittled.

I'd replace all the hoses if it was mine. I did mine a few years back. I haven't done the compressor R&R yet, going to attempt it this winter. Can't believe you're out in the garage doing that this time of year! Climate controlled garage? If you need a hand with anything let me know. I'm just up the street from you off Ellsworth & Guagalupe.

It's hot and miserable, trying to work on it at night, no A/C in garage.

Thank you for the offer, I will let you know, but should be ok.

I decided I can't drive it anymore with broken A/C, was trying to wait until winter. Lol

Have fun with it then. If it's not fun, then it's to much like work...I just add a little freon to mine now and then to get me to winter.

Those 2 hoses, both are formed, or have bends made in them that regular hose at parts stores won't have.

One goes to surge tank, other to throttle body, # 14 and 15.

I guess regular hose will work, just get a longer length, at least on the surge tank since it has U turn?

Don't want it to kink or pinch, anybody have pics of their replacement hoses?

OEM hoses seem like they would look better.

FWIW, I bought the set of "pre-formed" silicone hoses from Corvette Forum vendor, "CCA". Installed them several years ago...….
