Just browsing on Ebay for c5 stuff . Keep seeing LS1 emblems that say sick and twisted below the lettering. Anyone have any idea what this is as sll about. I'm sure there is some sort of story that goes with it. I just dont know what it is?
Your question confuses me a bit honestly. It's just something that the creator of those emblems decided to add to them; there's no "story" or why, and trying to wrap your head around it is going to be fruitless. Whomever put those emblems together just thought that it would be nice to have an accompanying phrase, even if said phrase is a little in bad taste. Considering there's vendors that sell console trim emblems that list the incorrect specs for the car and people still buy them I guess "sick & twisted" is a tad better.
Personally I feel just looking at others who have installed those emblems that they don't look to be the best quality. The brushed finished is very uneven and they look like they would get dirty quickly. I don't like excessive emblems though. I think even the stock Z06 fender emblems are a bit excessive on a car whose side body lines are rather rounded, and those emblems jar out like a sore thumb. My opinion, of course.
Not sure why its confusing. Most of the time when emblems are make with some sort of slogan it's made to differentiate a car from the main stream of other cars. Such as a show car or a shop that built the car. Maybe there is nothing to it. Just wondered if the was a story to it.

I wish our emblems weren't posted into the body, I'd have already popped mine off completely.
I think motor emblems are super cheesy. There's an older C4 near me that has like 9,000 L98 emblems all over it, along with the plethora of "look but don't touch" signs anytime it's parked. I mean, sure the SS454 emblems on old Chevelles are kinda nifty, but if the car didn't have them stock, don't add them.
The TRD decals and V6 badge on my Tacoma lasted about a week before they had a nice meeting with a hair dryer and a pinstripe remover disc.
