I'm heading down tomorrow for the day. Got a shopping list in hand and a lot of cash in my pocket for a few odds and ends that I'm going to need. Wish me luck.
The view out the window at the Travelodge - a freaking Ferrari! Place isn’t nearly as bad as Diamond Carlisle at the end of the driveway where I stayed last year...

Going to Carlisle is on my bucket list. For those that are there/going there, have a safe trip and enjoy yourselves. If you're looking for good deals, hope you find a lot of them.
I could use a good wiper cowl myself as my rubber seal is coming loose too. Not going to Carlisle but this site is the best for parts! I was at the front of the line for a set of perfect condition N73 magnesium wheels listed in the classifieds yesterday. I have lusted for a set of theses for my FRC but almost every set you see they are chipped up bad. A perfect set of N73’s for $500.00 is a score in my book.
Mostly for Carbon Fiber work from Apsis for console base, shifter/radio bezel, traction control trim, gauge cluster bezel, foglight/hatch button trim, & temp sensor trim. Apsis says first for a C5 in matte finish rather than gloss, will match my door pulls.
And some detailing supplies.

^^^WOW^^^ Will need some pics for sure when you get all that installed. Should be pretty awesome. I love their door pulls.
I will for sure, I have been buying extra parts the last few yrs as I intend to keep all my original components. When I purchased the door pulls they were originally gloss finish so I sent them back to Apsis for the matte finish.
I heard if you had a C7 you were in luck (parts wise)
otherwise there wasn't that much to be had.
Also, my buddy that went said the C5 was a bit "underrepresented" compared to ALLLLLLL the C6/C7's... makes me like the C5 that much more lol.
I couldn't agree more.
I went there - when the gates opened - looking for used Hi Perf parts for my 03 Z. Found 1 set of VERY used Kooks headers (no way to tell if they were real) for $500 and the X pipe was $350. I passed. Kooks had a pretty good 'show special' but I can't wrap my head around their pricing.
I need the plastic Door Screw covers for mine - they were $15 EACH (can get them on line for $4 per pair!) It was very resto-mod focused (C2-C3) or C7 bling and Go Fast stuff. C5's were kind of ignored -IMHO. I was out of there by 12:00. I did get some really nice shrink tube and elect connectors from a crazy guy at the end of one of the vendor isles.
Oh well - maybe next year?
I want to put an LSA Blower on my car - there was NOTHING there for me. But, it was a nice day and there were lots of great cars there and I got the day off work.
I went Friday, casually looking for an LS6 intake. I didn't see one intake for an LS. No FAST, stock anything. I was also disappointed with the C5 representation. Not disappointed overall. What a showing of Corvettes!
I picked up a set of restored wiper arms and an inside rear view mirror for my '63... that put a nice dent in the grand I brought! You need to start hoarding those C5 NOS parts now!
One thing I did notice was there were 2 or 3 vendors there I hadn't seen (or perhaps noticed) in the past that were offering lots of excellent C4 stuff. One was even offering new/aftermarket body panels. It was great to see the C4 finally getting a little well deserved respect. (Sorry I had to say that as the owner of a 8,000 mile '85 that I still absolutely love.)
But seriously, it won't be but a few more years and there will be lots of vendors offering great reproduction C5 parts... or dragging them out of their inventory storage shed to finally sell.
