Widebody go BLACK?
Just did the widebody fenders and put on the C6Z wheels.
Keep them silver? Or powder coat? Black, dark grey, gunmetal, black chrome? What does everyone think?

I think the silver looks very good.

I like them how they are for stock wheels, personally I'm not a fan of black or other dark colors unless the wheel has a distinguished lip (polished looks good) that separates the tire from the dark centers otherwise it all disappears... I'd prefer to have a little contrast so things stand out

Another vote for the standard silver. I think it makes a nice contrast with the black. And I like the look of these wheels on your Z06!
I also agree with neutron82 that some contrast would be nice if you went with black on the wheels, but I don't think this wheel would lend itself to the distinguished lip he mentioned.
Bottom line, though, is you need to go with the finish that "speaks" to you.

The contrast on your car look great now, you see the details of the car and keeps it classy / sporty. The post above with the black rims and painted tires is good if you are tracking it but not what I would like to see approaching it everyday, it gives the come on and race me vibe.

if I had a silver, gray, black car, something along those lines I would go with a wild color to really make the calipers pop but that's just me... unfortunately nothing like that really goes well with red so I'm stuck with stock red calipers haha
