Default Todays project, turned into more..

so i set out today to change the headlight gear in the driver side. i have already done the passenger side and the driver side started acting up.. now did not plan for a great big extravagant event so i did not take pictures along the way, with that being said there are a million tutorials online that you could watch and i am sure would be way more entertaining then a fat old dude like my self cussing at a car cause he cant get his hands in the right spot to get the job done. so with that being said that job was completed, both headlights go up and down no issues. great success there.

now on to the new task.. my baby has been running a bit hot, now normally i dont care if my girl is running hot as that is just a side effect of being with me, but i like my ride to run cool, and it has been hitting the 230 mark often. now i know that is close to the normal range, but i would like to keep it around the 220 mark. so i started in.. i removed the air filter and air box, removed the top radiator support and found a bunch of debri in there. i grabbed the hose and started spraying it all out. i dont know if it will help, i am sure tho that it wont hurt. i put it all back together and we will see if it helps at all. i know i can get it tuned to have the fans come on sooner, i could put in a lower thermostat to go along with that. i just really want it to run as it did from the factory. take a look at the pictures if you like. for today the project is complete!

Lots of debris in there. Cleaning that out should help with the temps.
