Default Lighting updates

I played a little with my lights.

Mods:
- Clear blinker housings
- Cheapo eBay projectors
- Switchback LEDs
- Cheapo eBay LED strips (already dying, too blue).
- Hyperflash relay from Corvettemods
- Radioflyer switchback harness

Car running, lights off.

Blinker off.

Blinker on.

Low beams.

High beams.

Those were $250, I think...
But the light pattern is not good and the projector swallows most of the light.
I don't almost ever drive where there's no street lights so they are for the looks only.

So, it looks from your photos that the LED strip cycles off and on with the flasher - is that correct? If so, that's at least one more attention getting device to signal your turn - great thought!

Interesting mod. More light is a good thing.

Yes they flash together. I didn't actually expect them to, as I soldered them to the radioflyer harness white circuit, but the harness actually lights up both white and amber at the same time when flashing.
The harness itself was a little disappointing; the plug would not make good contact on the blinker socket, so I ended up cutting them and soldering permanently to the car's harness.
I think I'm getting longer LED strips with a hue matching the switchback white.

Thought from the photos that's how it worked. Thanks for the info on how you set yours up. Hopefully the new LED strip will last longer for you.
