Yeah, time to ditch the wagon wheels. Forgestars will be a major upgrade for your car.

I had chrome wagon wheels on my 98. Started losing air in one tire. Found a crack in the rim. Replaced all four. Went with C6 ZO6 replicas.

Besides, I dont think that those rims could survive removing old hardened runflats. You have no choice but to replace the rims and the tires,

Wow, I did not think these wheels had issues. I knew the thin spokes did....interesting...

Chromed wagons have been on my '99 since new. No cracks but a bit of flaking beginning in the deep corners of those wide spokes.

The factory did not offer chrome wagon wheels. Sp, from new? Or almost new?

Yes, I have a set of wagons that had a crack. Recently had it repaired. Cost me $65 to have it welded up.

There are people on here who have been trying to pretty much give away their old WW's, so I am not sure I would spend money getting a crack welded.

Agreed. I bought a whole set for $40. I am using them to store the car over the winter and bring the good wheels and tires in from the cold.
