C6 shifter installed
Since I gave up watching football last year, I have found a myriad of projects to work on Sundays.
Today, I installed a C6 shifter in my 04CE. I highly recommend this mod if you are not interested in racing.
Since I use the car mostly for running around town, I found the C6 shifter much more pleasant to drive, especially in stop and go traffic. The shifts are much shorter and I had bought a 1-7/8* ****. I have had a couple of manual C6 cars and I could never get used to the 2-1/4" billiard ball *****. Always felt too big and clumsy.
The reason I went with the 1-7/8 was because I had several C3 cars and always enjoyed the shifter and the feel of the smaller ****.

Very nice mod for the car. A smooth shifting car is so much better to drive.
