Looks like a vacuum house that plugs into the back of the intake

Looks like part of the pcv tubing. Ties the tubing from the left valve cover to the right and feeds to the front of the intake manifold.

Buy an entirely new pvc assembly. It can potentially prevent having your oil pan or rear main seal leak from crankcase pressure. Common issue as the miles rack up. Average mileage of failure is 120k

Thanks, All. My Vette is 1999. It has 132k. I was replacing the oil sensor and this piece just broke. I just purchased my C5 a month ago from a guy who was kinda a jerk to the Vette. I felt I needed to rescue it, so I bought it and am slowly trying to fix items I see it needs.

Funny thing about when I bought the part all the websites say it doesn't fit a 99 Vette, even though the part looks the exact same and its the part number everyone here provided.

Thanks for all the info on the part. The replacement of it looks a little daunting, but I bought it and I'm going to give it a shot.

If you cut the bumps off of the ends of the tubes you can use this.

They are push lock pneumatic Y's and are available on ebay among other places. I believe you want the 3/8" one but I cant remember or find where I ordered it from so I am not positive.
Hope this helps.

You can see it installed in the last pic on this thread. It was not really what I was taking a pic of so It is just barely in the pic
