My lexan targa top fits perfect on my 2000 coupe. I tried to switch it out with the painted top for the winter. The painted top when i installed it does not sit flush on the rear and water pours in. Is there a way to adjust the roof panel so it sits flush and seals just like my lexan roof panel?

You can try adjusting the rear latching point to see if it will bring the back end down tighter to the weatherstripping and flush with the halo portion of the car. On the hook portion of the latch, there is a set screw that you can loosen and then you can turn the hook to adjust the amount of clamping force on the back of the targa. If you do this, make the adjustments in small increments and be sure to tighten the set screw back down when finished.
This is just a suggestion and may or may not solve your issue. If it doesn’t, you may want to get a body shop (dealer or non-dealer) to take a look at it and see if they have a way to get it lined up properly.
there are multiple adjustments on the panel and on the car itself...personally I always found one to fit tighter than the other but never had a leaking issue....you just have to play with the top to get it right
