I would look in the console, glove box, trunk bays etc maybe someone left contact info.
I left a brief history of my 50th Anniversary Edition in the console when I traded it in to a dealer. I also left my Forum ID and e-mail address but it's been a year and I have not had anyone contact me--who knows maybe the dealer removed the info.
Good luck
Good luck also, But if you bought from chevy dealer might ask dealer if owner bought a new corvette and go on C7 forum and post info on that forum with info on your car such as dealer traded into, last 4 digets of vin and see if anyone replies. I did get a call from person who bought my C5 that I traded into dealer so it can be done! Good luck ,Dave
I had questions for the previous owner about an X5 I bought from a dealer. The salesman contacted him and asked if it was okay with PO if I contacted him. He agreed and I gave him a call we had a great conversation. You could try that if you bought the car from a dealer. The worst he could do is say no.
When I have sold my previous vehicles to a third party, I always tell them that they can share my info with the next owner. I also try to collect all info I have on the vehicle both hard copy and electronic to be passed on.
One time when selling my Motorhome, the new owner had a problem that I had already paid to have fixed. Together we were able to get the item correctly fixed at no cost to him (other than travel cost to the Freightliner repair shop).
Wish this was a more common occurrence between new and past owners.

I found information on the two previous owners of my ’04 vert by obtaining a Car Fax. From that I was able to determine the state where the first owner resided. Using the VIN number, I sent a request to the State’s DMV (MD) to obtain all the public information they had on the vehicle. This procedure was outlined on the State’s DMV website. The actual name/address and price paid was redacted from the info they sent but the owner was listed as a company. Doing research, I found the Company’s owner’s name. The second owner (PA) was easy since the dealership had the signed copy of the title that was transferred to me. I chose not to contact the previous owners but just wanted to know the owners basic bio. Hope this helps.

As mentioned the selling dealer may be willing to contact the previous owner and see if it would be OK for you to contact them. Otherwise,it may be difficult to find out the info you seek.
I have tried to research the former owners of my C5 but as previously stated, privacy laws make it all but impossible to obtain the names of former owners. If you have a friend who works in your states vehicle registration office there may be some help there but don't count on it. Good luck.
