Paul,
If bobody gets you the info in a timely manner you can go to any Chevy dealer and have them pull a GM Inquiry on your VIN#. That will tell you the build date, option codes, dealer that sold the vehicle, date in service, etc. It is a nice tool to have and it is free of charge.

Paul-
Never saw if yours' is an '02 or an '01.....But,if it was an '01,your baby was born on Thursday,September 28th,2000. If it is an'02,she was born on SATURDAY!!..September 29th,2001.
If you have time, I would appreciate knowing the build date of an 02 Z06, VIN 1G1YY12S125123093. I respect you could get overwhelmed with these requests, so if you can't get to it, I certainly understand. :chevy :flag

You haven't provided born-on dates on this thread for a decade, but...
I have a question. If I know the date that a car was built and that it was two cars ahead of a Euro/Japanese-spec car yellow coupe that was driven by the buyer at the track at the assembly plant, could I find the VIN number?
We were on a plant tour and my then-six-year-old son helped birth the car. Trying to find the car by finding the VIN.
I will be at the National Corvette Museum tomorrow asking the same questions.
