Just bought 2004 Z06 (love it!)
I wonder if there is any fix on leather along stitching.
I’ve attached the pic for your reference.
Your input appreciated!
Thanks.
Welcome to the forum. My 2001 drivers seat is doing the same thing on the drivers side. I do not see any fixing it without replacing the seat cover. I used some of the light oak dye and colored the white area showing underneath the pulling seam and it did make it a lot less noticeable. I am going to replace the covers on my car in the spring. That area take a beating getting in and out and these cars are getting older and time takes it toll. There is a vendor here on the forum that has many options for replacing the covers with great prices. Rides is the company name.
If your seat color is black you can use a black sharpie pen and color the white and help it to not be so noticeable.

I agree with the above. A good upholstery shop should be able to replace the damaged pieces or just go with some new custom made all leather pieces from one of the forum vendors.
The seat on my 2002 Z06 was doing the same thing. I put some VLP on the damaged area, which is a liquid vinyl or leather repair product. I then put some black vinyl spray on it and it looked like this afterwards. It looked the same quite a few years later when I sold the car.
I did not know that the seat is not covered with leather 100%. They did a nice job at least to me on leather look vinyl!!
I will see if I can find upholstery locally here in DFW area. I'd bet there are several good ones here, too.
