I think that you will find this Jag shares many parts with a T Bird and Linc LS in that period. The ford/ jags had a jag 8 cyl while the fords and jags with a v6 were ford powered.. I had a '02 LS 6cyl.

Hey I like those cars, is a "X" type? Not so sure about the color, British racing green makes them pop!

Congrats. My C5's winter buddy is also a Jag. As mentioned above British Racing Green is the proper Jag color.

I loved my X-Type - its alot of car for not alot of money... Just be careful - the transfer case is a well know MAJOR issue with those cars...

I love the color you got - best of luck with her... My Vette has always wanted a "Tiger" in the garage...but I guess a Jaguar will do... (I know - I know - horrible joke - but I had to)...

Love the jag, had a 03 S Type 2 cars ago. A blue silver color.

Jags look like hell now without the round headlights. If it ain’t broken don’t fix. Jmo

it is so different than the Vette... much easier to drive fast, very balanced and much harder to get out of hand. In response to the manual tranny... i LOVE a manual but actually wouldn't want it in this car. The DCT shifts so fast and the RPMs are so high (red line 8400) and the car seems to rev quicker up top. The DCT is a perfect fit on this car. Just my opinion though. Before I bought it and had seat time I'd have gone manual as well, I got the DCT so the wife could drive it and now I'm happy I did
