Red Halltech
How rare is a red Halltech cold air intake? Anyone thinks it’s rare or is it just me.

I do not recall every seeing one, but I would guess there are a number of them out there.

If your talking about the cold air intake I don’t think they are rare. Pardon my dirt I was in between cleanings.

The red air bridge is not that rare, it was on the early Halltech systems as I recall. Since it is still using heated engine bay, air it will allow more air after the MAF to go into the Throttle Body effectively slowing down the airflow. If you car was running rich to begin with it helped lean out the car and helped, if you Corvette was running very good to begin with it required a tune to increase the fuel flow.

I didn't know if it was rubbing on mine.. Until I took the blanket off, and then 2 weeks later there is a nice blue rub mark on my black intake 😂😂

I got the one in the pic below. I also had a red one from them on my other c5. You tell them the length and diameter. I think mine is either 4 or 4 1/4”. Best to measure the parts yourself, thats what I did.
