Me either, I had owned Hondas since I was 16, mostly riding an extended 1977 750K, but when my boss came to work one day on a beautiful 2003 Lowrider I thought to myself that I needed to own one before I leave this world- couldn't afford the Lowrider but in 2004 I bought the 1200 Sportster. Never went out for the club scene, just my wife and me enjoying the surrounding Blue Ridge mountains and me just cruising around town from time to time. Sold her with 18K on the clock. It was fun and I'm glad I owned a HD. Strangely enough, I don't really miss riding anymore since owning the Vette-- That is how I prefer to spend my free time on a sunny day now ---hated helmet hair anyway.

Got a C4 at 40, I don't think I even owned it for a year. I just got my first C5 at 60. No disrespect meant to C4 owners, but I can't think of a think I don't prefer about the C5.
I've ridden Harleys for years. My brother and I rode our bikes from DC to Alaska and back a couple of years ago. That would be a sweet ride in the vette.

2020 C5 of the Year Winner- Unmodified
It's cool to see motorcycles and Corvettes go together. Seems like mostly Harleys. They're cool, but I've always been a sport rider, I guess on a bike or in a car for that matter. I try to get both my C5 and Motorcycle out every week. Winter does slow things down a bit. At 68, age hasn't been a problem yet.....

Bought the C3 at age 61. Drove it to 18 states. Got the bug for a better long distance travel car, and bought the C5 too at age 63, and picked it up on my BIRTHDAY!. We have taken the C5 to 24 states so far since last March. It is a great road car, as comfortable and quiet as my BMW 540i. I am now saving my pennies for a C2! Age has nothing to do with it, we all gotta' just get out there and cruise!

Bought my first Corvette at age 61 this fall. It´s a 2000 Dark bowling green convertible with Light oak conv. and interior.
Not good pictures, look black, I know. The car is now in rented garage for winter, so I can´t take any better pictures now.
I´m waiting for summer...
My son drives a C4 as a daily drive nowadays. Here he is at the Nurburgring this summer.
