I’m trying to align the tips on the MAM Quad Crusier I just installed. The question I have is should the mufflers be flush under the car? I have the tips looking right but the muffler hangs a little lower in the rear (canted) and slightly below the rear body panel. Does not look correct but hard to see in stock pics. General opinion would help as I imagine most axle backs fit similarly. Thanks
BTW, quality of this setup appear pretty good . $600 shipped.
This is the hard part... should it fit perfectly...yes. Will it fit perfectly no.
Aftermarket, is after all... aftermarket.
I just put a Corsa on my 1991 ZR1. My tips are damn near perfect, but I have a slight cant (similiar to yours) on the passeneger side muffler. I've resigned to live with it as the cure for the might mess up the super close alignment.
I'm as OCD as they come, but the first priority shoudl be the tip alignment.
Thanks for the help. Think I found the happy medium though now I am wrangling with this Borla x-pipe so all adjustments are off again. Not sure this can be done without more clearance or a lift. F!
