I have seen a thread where a member noted having made his own. If I might suggest, think about obtaining a reproduction center section and cannibalizing the wire retainers from it. $68 on Amazon.
Yes, I made a few wire tabs, there is a video by froggy is on youtube on how he repaired his. I go through these quite a bit, lowered car and driveway curb don't get along. Can't post pick but found old post: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...placement.html
Made these in a hurry, just wanted to get the car on the road after changing oil cooler lines. Will probably find a better solution, with some sleeves on the cable or a bushing on the metal where the cable goes through. That's where it slides and breaks. Heck, my metal is getting slots worn in from the cables. I used picture hanging wire, doubled up and some 1/4" compression nuts with a small washer inside the nuts to loop and hold the wire, filled the void with caulk so it looks flat and a little paint. It probably won't last long, but a temp fix. Always open for a better solution, can't keep buying center spoilers for stupid cables, lol.
