Default Pulled the trigger - Side Skirts & Splash Guards installed

Decided to go ahead and have the C7 Carbon gloss black side skirts installed. I was hesitant. But, after seeing them on the car, Im glad I went through with it. It was the drilling into the car that had me second guessing it. Got caught in the rain coming home this morning. I will post some better pics this weekend ... I plan on a wash. It's supposed be sunny and low 40's this weekend here in Southern PA! No pics of the rear splash guard. Too close to the wall.

You took it out in the rain???
That's enough to get you banned & banquished!!!(l made that word up!)
LOL
How much were they & how long did the job take & did you find any problems or future pitfalls in doing it?
Also, do they not make C5 specific guards??

PS, tell me about the red stripes on your wheels, l like them.

Thank You for the posting with pictures. I have been contemplating pulling the trigger and now I have the proof of what it would look like. Looks awesome.

I was expecting something gaudy looking. They actually look very nice, almost like it came from the factory that way!

I bought them from C7 Carbon. Delivered they were around $440 total. Shop charged $150 to install everything. The only issue was that the Apsis front splash guard had to be modified a bit, to fit around the side skirt. They used a drummer tool and made the adjustment. It looks really nice.

Also, do they not make C5 specific guards??

Apsis makes guards for the specifically for the C5. I looked around and found the ones from Apsis looked the best.

The wheels are C6 ZR1 wheels from Florida Speed. Stock sizes. They had them with the red strip and without.

Looks great. I've been thinking about doing the same for the past year.

The side skirts look very good on your car. Congrats on a successful mod.

Those look really nice. Now you got me thinking....

Any fitment problems or adjustments needed to fit that seamless looking?

Might hit 50 here in NW NJ. Might be good time for a nice first of 2019 new years ride!

They do look nice. Do the side skirts reduce ground clearance at all?

The only fitment issue was with the front Apsis splash guards. They had to be modified a bit, with a drummer tool, to fit around the side skirt. No fault of either, it's just they way they are made.

The reduction was roughly a 1/2" or less. Not as much as I thought it would actually.
