Default Exhaust

Will a stock C6 Exhaust (cat back) fit on a C5? My 5 has the base black tip exhaust and a friend has a much nicer looking C6 exhaust that he will give me. Will it Fit?

The muffler on the C6 runs parallel with the car where as the C5 mufflers sit sideways in the back. Doubt you’ll get the C6 muffler to work on the C5. But, perhaps someone has found a way to make it work.

I remember reading on here somewhere where a guy cut the rear tub area out of a C5 to make a C6 exhaust work, but I sure wouldn't destroy my car to do it with so many options in aftermarket exhaust systems, and the factory Ti system as well.

Plenty of good new and used setups for a C5 out there versus putting alot of time and effort into that kinda project.

I have a Billy Boat Bullet on my C5 now, weather permitting they are coming off and a Corsa Sport is going on hopefully next week. I can ship if you have a paypal account. PM me we should be able to work out something.

Thank you gents. No I will not cut up the car for this. If it would fit I would go for it but it would have to be a bolt in deal. Thanks again, I'll save up for aftermarket
