Thanks! They do have bolts since they’re two-piece rims, but the bolts are on the inside of the face only visible when the wheels are off. I agree, much better/cleaner looking without them

Fikse Technipolish is actually an anodize. It cannot be polished nor stripped off conventionally.

I had a muffed up set of FM5s I decided to recondition once. Aircraft stripper may remove any clear top coat but it will ZERO to technipolish. Hit it with a wheel and compound all you want afterwards. Nothing. It must be chemically stripped or sanded off.

That’s good to know, thanks! Surprisingly I was able to get fine scratches/swirls out with polishing compound as I mentioned. Thankfully there aren’t any deep scratches/gouges. I see no reason to strip the finish off the faces at this point as there darn near perfect. But if the time ever comes, sounds like it’ll be one heck of a job!
