Car shipper recommendations please

Go to UShip.com and sign up for a quote. You will have numerous options and quotes emailed to you within a day or two. The prices will vary. If you have time to wait, you can get a good price. I would only use enclosed trailers this time of year. I’ve used this service numerous time for both cars & cycles with no issues.

Online quote from Reliable - $1148. Call them & it's $3500. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! The guy is supposed to call me back after he sees what he can do. I'll likely just end up using the broker my buddy has used before & I used to have my old Z06 shipped.

I had a car shipped from Grand Rapids, Michigan. FEDEX picked the car up at the seller's house and dropped it in front of mine just outside of Philadelphia.
Several years ago, but the cost was $600.00. Worth a call...
FYI - Had Reliable transport another for me from Vancouver, Canada to my home and it was around $1500.00. Both transports were enclosed...

Just completed a shipment from OH to TX. $1,125 enclosed transport. Brokerage service was $225. Picked up 6 days from date of contract. 2 days to deliver.
Brokerage company was shipacardirect.com. Carrier was Dacia, LLC. No complaints about the either the brokerage company or the carrier.

Virtually all brokerage companies and trucking companies will make up crap to get you to give them your money. There is a lot of good info about how, unless you are contracting with a specific truck driver and you are absolutely sure they're not going to resell your order, or unless you have your own truck, you have very little control over quality and timing of car transport.
Chicago to PA is a half day drive. I recommend just driving it and flying the other direction. It will be cheaper, and it will be a lot less stressful. Assuming the car runs reliably for that distance.
