This is a "heart breaker" dyno where I've run 3 different cars that made more power on other dynos. I've been told this is a "Wednesday" motor... for those who know what that mean.

Good numbers, regardless. Congrats. Those stingy dynos are definitely heartbreakers.

Very nice output from that engine. I’d bet the car is a lot of fun to drive.

Thank you. When I say stingy, I meant in comparison to other dynos. I'm sure the gains from the old motor to the new one are substantial, but I wasn't able to do a baseline, obviously.

Quite honestly I was surprised with the results.

In regards to the drive, yes, it is such a fun car. I put my C6 Z06 suspension on it, shocks, sways, and front spring. (went coilovers with that car). It has R888R tires on it and I will be taking it to autocross. I might have to rebuild the differential soon, but that's an easy job.

People keep asking me how much I want for it, and gawk when I tell them more than 25, but they don't understand the kind of work that is involved in the swap, nor the performance parts that come with it. They're just used to seeing ratty old C5Zs on craigslist on facebook for 13k.

All that on a stock cam, huh? The dry sump really helps out it seems. Would probably easily crack the 500 mark with some sort of aftermarket cam...

Yeah no, I'm good! My C6 Z06 makes well over 600 on the same dyno and I'm sure on others it makes 630+. I don't like driving the big cam around town. For 50 hp it's not worth it plus I lose a bunch of torque down low.

You don’t have to put a donkey dick cam in it like the c6z. Regardless great numbers! Those ls3 motors are stout!
