I know there on threads on this, but mostly have to do with vendors. I’m kind of a DIY kind of guy. Bought the Metra console/bezel but trying to decide which route to go. I have a 50th, so we are looking at dark medium neutral color. I know I will have to texture it some before painting, but was wondering if anyone has done this color themself using a vinyl/leather? I know there are vendors out there that do this, but no way I’m paying $500 plus to have one wrapped. I actually like the design on the Metra and will keep my original for resale in the future. Perhaps someone can share their own experience or thread they are aware of. Thanks
Before I covered my stock bezel in leather I redid it using SEM paint products. They have a texture black paint that was a pretty good match. I do not know but, it would be worth checking to see if they have any paints that match the 50th anniversary interior color.
Good luck in you search.
I covered my bezel myself for less than 100.00 dollars. The vendor for the leather was JF Customs on Ebay.

JF was one I was going to contact. Did you cover it with no seams and how is it holding up? Did you share a thread on the forum? SEM has a texture spray and I think Colorbond probably has the dark medium neutral with the best match

Been there done that, SEM paint does NOT match the 50th Anniv colors. Both their Shale and Medium Dark Neutral were way off the OEM colors.........But the ColorBond paints do match
