I don't know about these particular brands, but I think there are two materials used. One is a wire screen and one is stamped metal. I think the stock Z06 is the wire screen. I'm guessing the wire screen would allow more air flow, but i don't have any technical data to support that. I've ordered the wire screen to add to my FRC.

Yeah--it's too bad you can't inspect them both side by side before pulling the trigger on either one. I'm a firm believer that you "usually" get what you pay for, but for a 200.00 difference it better REALLY be worth it...
I bought these. The quality is OK... the front section is clipped on and reinforced with superglue or similar. I had to add a little extra super glue / gorilla glue gel which I wasn't super happy about, but once on the car they fit and look very good. We'll see how it handles the test of time.
I have tried both Racemesh as well as the screens offered by ACC. The Racemesh are very nice, however the issue I had was that you needed to use silicone or some other adhesive. The Racemesh screens for the side coves and rear valiance did not have any lips, so the challenge was to get the Racemesh properly stuck to the car. I found it to be a messy and difficult project.
The screens offered by American Car Craft (ACC) IMO are just as nice and a lot easier to install as the have L-shaped adopters with double-sided tape. A lot easier to install and they have held up very well.
