Battery tender question
What’s up brothers. This is the first time I wanna use a Shumacher battery charger /tender. It automatically senses when the battery needs to be charged and all that. My question is where is the best place to hook up the negative clip ? It says connect clip away from battery ? Do any of you just put it on the negative battery terminal directly ? Any help or info would be great. Thx.

The battery tender usually indicates when it is correctly connected. A green light vs. red, or something similar. I also use one over the winter and connect the negative clamp somewhere on the engine as the ground. Works every time... Just touch the neg clamp on parts of the engine until it connects...
