I can't say enough about Chuck's ability for tuning. He and I ran into an "issue" tuning my car and he stuck with me for four hours just before his wedding as my car wouldn't start after "tuning". Once we got it restarted he and did some research and found my HVAC control computer was non op and it caused the VIN in my computer to reset to all 000s. I replaced the HVAAC computer and he showed me how to reset the VIN. We then did a lot of different test drives and he stuck with me to get to an ideal tune. He has done 1000s of LS tunes and paying him you are getting experience across his many years of experience. And he does extraordinary customer service as I was probably one of his worst case scenarios, I plan on continuing to use Chuck as long as he will stay pace with me.
I don't understand no HP gains from a tune along with CAI, AND CAT BACK....
Why do dyno for a tune if you can't add HP?
I get the throttle response and shift points in an automatic, but actually data logging and adjusting timing, rpm limits, AFRs...
Other dynamics don't increase HP?

Used Doug at ECS for a mail order tune on my 99 A4 with similar intake and axle back set up. Wasn’t sure if I needed to spend up to $5-600 on Dyno tuning. Tune provided met my desire for better responsiveness and less lag in launches. Car feels faster and pulls harder for what I need. Great option for those of us who can settle for good enough or just want to get a little more out of very light but necessary mods. ECS was easy to work with and efficient. I’m sure others provide the same.
