Does anyone have any experience/feedback on using the u-haul car transporter to trailer a C5 ZO6? Thanks

Yes. Be very careful to not rip the front bumper off. Ask me how I know.

I did my C5Z on a penske trailer, then we did my gf's C6 on a uhaul. The wheels stoppers are HIGH vs the Penske. I had to cut various pieces of wood for her car to drive onto so her front was high enough to clear the stops. Then once strapped it was good but...did take a process getting her car on the Uhaul version. My C5Z is lowered on Pfadts and it cleared the Penske trailer but...Penske only tows with Penske's, unlike Uhaul.

A few things. 1) Many people don't realize the fender on the left side either comes off or tilts to allow the driver's door to open. 2) with the trailer attached to your tow vehicle, jack the tongue of the trailer up to reduce the angle between the ramps and the trailer bed. DON'T FORGET TO LOWER AGAIN BEFORE TOWING. 3) The corner air dams will hit on the front lip of a Uhaul. Either remove them or flex them out of the way then roll the car forward. I rolled the car by hand while a partner and I flexed the corner pieces of the air dam. I then used the provided straps to secure the car. Some people use wood blocks to raise the front to clear the air dams. I prefer to have the full height of the trailer lip for the tire to butt up against and function as designed.

Weather dependent I may be doing this myself in a couple weeks. I've heard decent things about putting a C5 on a Uhaul trailer.

I will say my pro tip of the day is to just skip the tongue jack (which does work and is an option) and drive your tow vehicles rear wheels up on ramps or blocks. This will significantly reduce the break over angle. You will likely need very little wood to get the cars nose up the base of the ramps.

If I end up doing this I may make a crappy youtube video of the process.

sub substandard video of the process.

I really dig the Uhaul car trailers. What a bargain at 55 bucks a day.

I don't know if I'll ever buy a car trailer again.

Screw Uhaul trailers...I rented one and it did not have a SINGLE drop of brake fluid in the reservoir on the tongue. Actually, it was rusted inside the reservoir. The pendulum style brakes sucked too. Good think I was towing with a 03 2500HD Silverado that could handle the

PS: Yes I'm still salty over that one experience....

Buy a decent used one for $1200, toss some tires and tune up the electric brakes. Done.

My '99 blew the transmission while I was in upstate New York in July and I had to U-Haul trailer it back to my home in Delaware. You will need to use wood blocks to raise the front wheels enough for the air dam to clear the front stops. I think I also used some 2x8 or 2x10 planks to decrease the angle to get it onto the trailer's ramps. I had a friend to help me keep everything straight and it wasn't too difficult. Fortunately, the transmission still had just enough left that it was able to get up on its own power.

I've used them 2x and it went fine, they were a newer trailer with aluminum ramps, had to use 2x 10 to raise the nose up in the front , but i pulled fine. The next time I went got the trailer and when I tried to load the Z06 it was too wide to load. It was an older generation trailer and was too narrow to use. They dont provide a rear strap to tie dont the rear, so go buy a pair of those, the fronts use trailer mounted straps the straddle the front tires and ratchet down. I'm watching Craiglist for a open trailer now,

You would have a better chance of winning the PowerBall lottery than finding a trailer for 1200 bucks around here.
