For this price I upgraded to nappa with suede type inserts. I di NOT get new foam. 1. I didn't see it for c6, and 2. Car only has 45k (ish) miles so didn't think it was worn that much

I agree
the OEM leather is just horrible !!!!!!!!

More pics of the synthetic leather would be nice. My couches are made from synthetic leather and I wish my car interior was the same.

Has anyone used this kit before they installed the new seat covers so the new foam isn't cut by the springs or the side edges don't get worn away? https://www.southerncarparts.com/cor...ld-p-3737.html

I just bought the rebuild kit through the ebay seller. I not installed it yet, and I plan to do it with my stock covers. I did buy new foam though.

Reminder, this is a vendor for sale thread and as such the same rules apply as if an individual was listing an item for sale. This is not the place to debate the +/- of the various materials, whether or not there are wear marks on a set of seats or other similar issues. If you want to debate other members, please take it to PM or e-mail, rather than doing so in this open for sale thread.

Please respect the vendors effort to sell his product at a group buy discounted price.

Does this mean that purchasers aren’t allowed to publicly comment on their experience with vendor’s products?

Koreanbeefcake, please let us know how that kit worked out after you install it. For those of us who ordered both the seat foams and covers here from the vender why can't we ask how to best make both last as long as possible as in installation advice? If the vender can't answer, why can't someone else? I don't understand, this isn't the C5 for sale/wanted section.

I have both synthetic leather and genuine leather in my C6Z
I'm very happy with both sets the synthetic leather requires virtually no maintenance and nobody has been able to tell the difference

I am seriously considering doing so. My E-Bay skins are holding for now, but less than impressive overall, and I don't think they will last for long. Plus I really like the look of the gray with black stripes.
What's the count? Do I need to save money so that you reach 30?

Please don't use any chemicals. They make leather shine in short term, but in long term they are really bad for the leather. Just use regular water, and don't let the water sit on it, dry it with towel. Be gentle.

Thanks

Not for nothing, but this evil twin character needs to lay off the hallucinogens.
