air bag ? ? ?
Yesterday I posted a ? on the tech forum about the difference in clock spring between the years . got no comments . Today I pulled the aftermarket wheel to see if the original clock spring was there , it wasn't. So now I will have to find a clock spring for my 98 . I have had the 98 for about 6 years and it has always bugged me that the driver side bag was missing. I finally found a complete wheel with bag and want to put in .
Is there anything else I need to do to put it back ?

update got a clock spring from Vette2 Vette , still researching this and studying the service manual . surprised that no had any comments on this . I can't be the first to put an airbag back .

I have been searching for info about putting the air bag back and not really having much luck . The service manual explains that when you turn the key on it runs a diagnostic of the system . If it finds a fault the idiot light comes on . Today I plugged it all in and turned the key on . The air bag light went out ! So it looks like everything is ok . Just a couple little things to finish up and it will be ready for warm weather.
