I need support

The roads were clear after several days of rain a couple weeks ago and I got my car out and drove it to work 3 or 4 days in a row. I bet mine has been out 8-10 days since hibernation started. With any luck, I'll be taking it to western PA Saturday.
Other years with my previous Vette, there were entire winters where it never saw the light of day. Just depends on road conditions. While I miss it, it also allows me to do some mods and maintenance items I'd otherwise be reluctant to start. So it's all fine with me. Soon, I'll be pulling the heads on mine to redo them. Might do a cam at the same time. Would hate to miss a bunch of summer driving time for such stuff.

I went out to the garage and visited with them yesterday. The C5 has been out a handful of sunny days this winter, but the C3 proly wont see daylight until May sometime.

Just got done snowblowing about 400 ft of sidewalk, a three stall wide driveway, and a two car long parking place alongside the street. The snowplow came by before I started (caught a break there) and the banks were about 3 ft high. Took about 2 hrs. I'm running out of room to put any more snow. The snowblower has more hours on it in a month this year than in the previous two years put together. Must be global warming. Am I whining? You betcha. You guys who live down south, please dispense with the rub it in comments. I'm hurting enough already. Thank You.

My winter storage insurance expires March 15, should be good here by then! Kelowna only started getting snow in January this season, didn't get much until February though.

I don't drive mine in the winter, not to save it for the next guy, but to save it for myself. Cars don't last a long time when they are driven in Wisconsin winters. 35 below a couple weeks ago and 35 inches of snow this month. It's hard on cars. Not to mention, going into the ditch won't hurt most cars or trucks, but could easily total out a C5.

I wish I could afford something like that! I have an 11 year old Escalade with 143,000 miles. At least it has a 6.2 in it!

This Forum is the best RX for my winter blues. Keeps me thinking and talking Vettes. Without this I would surely have serious withdrawals. Come driving weather I'll be doing a lot less posts. You southern boys and gals, keep the pics coming.

I store mine off site in a heated garage. I think it helps to not see it everyday. Looking forward to a break in the weather. I poke around on the forum more in the winter. The down side of the forum is all of the great spring project ideas that seem necessary. Gets expensive...

There is a support group for you northerners. We live in Arizona if you want to come visit. I will be looking for a support group when summer hits though.

Driving a 200 Ford Expedition is lame compared to my 1999 620 HP C5 Vette but the Vette would be lame in the winter snow while the 4X4 Expedition loves it. Still, seeing the Vettes just parked there while I'm getting out the snow blower just sux.

Mine's up on the stands, under the tarp and hooked to the charger. I spend my time reading issues of Vette and Corvette magazines. The groundhog didn't see his shadow so maybe an early spring. Can't wait.
