I bought mine from Corvette Central (part no. 135014) for $159.99. The outer material is nylon similar to the C6 visor.

Great news and welcome to the club!

We took the Corvette out this afternoon (yes, I winter drive our car) and on the drive home my wife and I found the setting sun blazing into our eyes and we both deployed the new visors- it is really nice to have them good as new, not just cosmetically (which was the main reason I replaced them); but also restoring function to an item that improves both the driving experience and safety.

I also noted that there is only one way to insert the bezel in, the triangle part has two pointed tips and one square tip. Ive read that some people were having issues with the bezels. I'm wondering if they installed them incorrectly? It can go in the other way but it will be loose and can pop out.

Anyways, cant wait for the real test with the top down and at high speed

I have a C5 Commemorative - does anyone make an aftermarket other than black? I can't seem to find my color anywhere and dont really want to go black with the dark tan trim that I have now

Thanks in advance

I have the C5 Commemorative too. Go to Corvette America, they will redo your visors for you. All you do is send your visors in and they will refurbish them. I love them. My are the shale ones. They came out great. I think they were about $129.00 each. Good luck. Ron

If you can find the early version (1997-1998 I think) then they won't have any ugly airbag stickers at all on them. Everything else about them is the same.
