Default Question on older Vararam

I purchased a used CAI and I was expecting to see the ducts go down to and bolt up to where the factory fog light bezels are. This one does not have that. My question, did they come like this? Do you cut your currrent bezels to bolt up to them? These have rivets on the end of them. Hopefully someone can shed some light . Excuse my messy work station.

Looks like the previous owner riveted the vararam ducts to the fog light housing...
That's it... no other pieces...
It takes some fiddling to get them in and everything lined up before you tighten it all up... but worth the effort...
Been a few years since i did mine and it was a used, basket case as well... but, i finally figured it out.... take your time and a few breaks...

So you hack up the original fog light housing, if I follow you correctly?

Yeah I watched the video but that has ends that bolt up in place of the factory bezels. I'm assuming a new design ?

Sorry not exactly... the fog light housing comes out... but the fascia inlet is what the duct slips over...

Lol... it's been so long ago... maybe i did hack the fog light housing to have the B1 fit... I'll go look...
Yes! I did modify my fog light housings to accommodate the vararam ducts...
I distinctly remember it being very simple and MUCH easier removing the fog lights as well...

They did not come like that, those are missing the ducts that "replace" the fog light original ducts.
I cant see how this will work without them properly.

Maybe someone from Vararam will chime in. I went to their site but of course no documentation for the older versions.

Vararam usually responds to these, give them some time and I'm sure they will. Once you get it installed, you will like it as I really do.

After a litte more digging, it appears that Vararam always included new fog light housings. The old ones were riveted onto the new piece. The one I bought had the two pieces pried apart I'm going to contact the seller and attempt a refund and buy a brand new one.

Thats what I thought when i saw this.
I did my Vararam install last year so I am freshly familiar with all this. I see these for sale often and I was tempted to buy them used myself but for the money being saved it wasn't worth it so bought it brand new with the power duct for under $300.00

good luck
