Painted Alternator Cover
Hey everyone---I am looking for a black perforated alternator cover for my C5 and all I can find is stainless or polished aluminum. Has anyone come across one of these or do you scuff the stainless and paint it? I saw a thread where someone had one that was black trim with red perf. and that is pretty much what I am looking for. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, if you want perforated it limits you. The only ones I see are made by American Car Craft (although lots of places sells them). I would ask them about your painting concerns, they are really nice guys.
