When I had my Forgestar wheels put on, the shop couldn't get the rear center caps on. But they said they could get them on if they shaved off a thread or two of the end of the axle. So that's what they did to make it fit.

At first, the shop called me and told me my car was ready to be picked up. I got there and only the front caps were on and the rears looked like this. What the hell? Car isn't ready if it looks like this. That's when another guy there said he could shave a couple threads to get it to fit.

Better.

Looks great man. Have you had an alignment recently? Curious if you're running neg camber and how much? If you can run more you'll tuck the tops in nicely.

Those look great! I have a magnetic red 2001 vert and want black wheels for it. What are you going to do with the old ones you took off?

Personally I don't see why you'd need to tinker with alignment after changing the wheels. The only thing that likely changed is the scrub radius and I very much doubt you'd notice that difference. The suspension alignment remains the same.

Well, i was able to take the car for a test drive yesterday..no noises banging everything fit great. The one thing i regret is buying these sport cup2's!. These tires pick up everything on the road..i used blue painters tape on my fenders before i drove it, i hope the c6z06 splash guards will help!
