So my left headlight no longer flips up and stays up and the right side is sooo loud when it closes. I got the bronze gear kit to try to fix the problem, but ran into a more annoying problem. Those little pivot bolts. They're torx headlight "pivot" bolts? These are TORX head bolts with a self locking nut.
They're sheared! I can't take them off, but I'm just gonna break them off... The thing is, I dont want to break them off until I find some suitable replacements. I was told I could use some hexes or regular nuts/self locking nuts. The thing is, I'm not sure what size to buy... Or the thread count on these little things. I'm hoping someone can help me out.

I would guess you are talking about the shoulder bolts that go into the 2 places highlighted below?
Looks like you need to use the proper shoulder bolt & a nylon sleeve so the light can pivot without binding, mine is all back together so can't show any detailed shots of the bolt & nylon sleeve, or give specific size of the bolt or what thread size.
