Bienvenue!
I love France; my wife and I spent a good amount of time in the French Riviera (Nice, Antibes, Cannes, +Monaco) and Paris last summer and loved your country. I also went to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2011 and saw our beloved Corvettes race there- absolutely incredible experience!

I can't imagine there are many c5 Corvettes in France? It must get lots of attention.
Unless of course you're in St Tropez, then people probably feel sorry for you and think you're a homeless person.

many corvette in France many American cars
this is also true that c5 and c6 get lots of attention people think this is a supercar very expensive
even if in my area C5 are more expensive than you in USA, price/look/performance is unbeatable
