I love that Spitter, especially if it allows front cooling vs bottom !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate how the fans pick up the crap and deposit over my engine bay !!!!!

Splitter looks good on the car - bold choice with the color.

he was poking fun at the crazy amount of wheel gap....
i have one one of these splitters on order, but the more I see the more I worry about how low it hangs. If installed on a car with proper wheel gap it’s gonna be decapitating squirrels.

My wheel gap is stock, what's wrong with that? Am I less a man for having stock wheel gap?

no one was attacking your manhood.
its just a simple fact that.C5’s way too much wheel gap stock. Add in some bigger dia wheels without cranking the bolts a little and it exaggerates the issue even further. Hence the off road comment above.
But if his joke hurt that bad, I’m sure it’s nothing a new set of Jean shorts or white new balance sneakers can’t fix...
if we cant laugh at ourselves, who can we laugh at?

Your manual states that you should lower the car 15mm for track use. I don't quantitatively know what benefits it's has vs the factory height, but if you look at the factory test cars on the track they too are noticeably lower.
My long winded point is that lowering the car is a recommended path forward, especially for track use. Even have GM literature in your glove box to back me up on it

Naa....but the black wheels and BSM do.
nice car man
I personally love the factory polished wheels on those cars.... I like the splitter but would want side skirts and spoiler to go with it, all painted factory color. JMHO
