Does anyone use a wind restrictor on a C5 vert. Do they help?

Do you mean a screen (that can be removed) or one of the mounted plastic types? I have and use a screen, and it does actually help with the wind in the cab area with the top down. It only goes in when my wife comes with me, because her hair blows around (she doesn't like hats or wearing her hair up).

What brand is that and where did you get it? I assume it fits in the trunk when you don’t want it?

Bat. I know what you mean. The brand Wind restrictor can stay installed with top up or down. That is the one i am looking at.

In my "Vert" the "Wind Restrictor" isn't as dramatic as some say but the difference is definitely noticeable, at + highway speeds with the windows up it is possible to have a conversation but with the windows down well..............

I ordered directly from KPI. Turns out they are right here in the Dallas Ft Worth metroplex where I live. I ordered on Saturday and received on Tuesday afternoon. I did not order any LED option. Plain clear deflector with Corvette logo. Tried to take a picture of the deflector, but since it is clear I can't get a good shot of it not installed. Stay tuned for Saturday or Sunday reveal...

I ordered directly from KPI. (I believe they are available from many sources.) Turns out they are right here in DFW. I ordered on Saturday and received on Tuesday afternoon. I did not get any LED options. Plain clear with corvette logo. Just had the windows tinted today so I can't lower the top for a few days (windows need to stay up). I plan on installing on Sat or Sun, I will post install pictures as soon as possible. Stay tuned for the reveal.

I love mine. I got the one with the logo etched in and the led lights (in my case, yellow to match my car). As for wind buffeting protection, it gets a B with the windows down and an A with the windows up. But at night with the LED lights on, it is glorious. A+ for looks. Don't go cheap on this one. Get the full monty.

Heres mine, installed early last year. My wife loves it we can drive 65mph and still talk. It is better with the windows up but still good with them down. The red Leds are cool too!

Would of been better if that was a roll bar with a screen

I put a Wind Restrictor in my 03 vert. I bought the plain jane with no lights. The lights looked funny to me but if you like them get them.
It works quite well. I can talk to my wife at highway speeds now.
I took it out once (easy to do) and realized how much it helped and put it right back in.
Good luck!

PM replied...… but for others wondering, it came with the car when I bought it so I'm not sure where it came from. There are no markings on it either, so no idea who makes/made it.

It's an IKON Motorsports, ZR1 style. I had it painted to match the car

I just installed the same lip last week, how did you possibly have it painted and install it without cracking/damaging the paint? It's fairly solid when it's mounted, but the thing is all kinds of flimsy by itself haha

Mine came with my car, it does work a little bit but if I had to buy one for several hundred dollars from the prices I have seen, I wouldn't.
